System Overview & Problem Statement

Otaku Insider offers a seamless, blazingly fast experience for discovering new anime, tracking watch progress, viewing live airing schedules, and managing personalized watchlists. Built on modern Next.js 16 with React 19, it is deployed on Cloudflare Workers via OpenNext for incredible global performance and low edge latency. It uses Neon PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM for type-safe serverless data storage and Better-Auth for robust user sessions.
